Attacked physically by people who are bigger than you with knives and broken bottles?
If so you must hang out in some rough dives.
Attacked verbally by friends?
Gangs of Obamites are hanging on the street corner in your neighbourhood ready to bash anyone not wearing an Obama badge??
So either stand up for yourself or find new friends.

If you hever experienced the Hitler experience don't invoke it - its blasphemous to do so. I did and though I was very young I do have 1 very specific life-or-death memory of it and I was raised by people who were survivors only because they escaped and/or were protected and very lucky.
On the evidence you offer your credibility with me is nil.

Here is something more meaningful for you cons to contemplate. Let's study WWII America... Picture it: A draft, shared sacrifice, rationing of food, fuel, and clothing. No tax cuts for the extremely wealthy, no carefree sitting at home begging other people to sacrifice on our behalf while we went selfishly on our merry way, no endless shrill bitching about the high cost of gas (while others came home in body bags or not at all), no silly cowardly accusations from the sidelines that people who didn't support the troops were unpatriotic (because nearly all households were affected and risked losing a loved one). Flash forward to 2008 and *wow* have the times changed or what? Chickenhawkery, greed, self-absorb attitudes and the worst of human nature abounds. ;-(

Are you beaten with truncheons like Hitler's Brownshirts used to do to people at Democratic meetings?
Was your family raped and shot in front of you like Hitler's Blackshirts used to do to citizens?
Are our children taken and cut open alive without anethetic and have sulfuric acid poured into the wounds to see how long the could survive screaming like Hitler's Dr. Mengele did?

Spin, one thing that I notice you seem to forget. The German Nazis were highly nationalistic and equated patriotism with supporting their German cause. Who does that resemble -- certainly not Obama and his supporters.

The Nazis also depended on a racially identifiable scapegoat. Is anyone doing that?
They also took power in the aftermath of their country's defeat, humiliation and poverty. Again, nothing like that happening here in the U.S.
