Gadgets & Tech – The Apple folks gave the TUAW.com guys an up close look at the soon to be released Apple TV. Scott McNulty narrates.
The only thing I don't like about the Apple TV is that I use a Powerbook and I'd have to have it running all the time to stream content to my TV. I could set up my Mac Mini server (yeah, I'm a Mac nerd) to do it, but keeping the two in sync would be pretty difficult.
(Also, let's see if the ASCII Apple character (;) works: ;)
I love the idea of this product. However, for me to buy one, I would want a subscription service like my Blockbusters deal for $20 a month where I could "rent" movies as I wanted them. Something where I could not save them or copy them, but acquire them on my iMac and play them on my AppleTV. That would be too cool and I would buy one tomorrow!
