Autos – During the Santa Monica Alt Car Expo last December, Gadget and his crew from Left Coast Electric ripped out the guts of a Triumph and tried to convert the car in two days. A little hassle from the Fire Marshall and a few technical hiccups meant that the conversion wasn't complete by the time the Expo closed on Sunday, but and proved it is possible.

Autos – Jory Squibb built his Moonbeam last year in his Maine garage. The unique little dome is built from used Honda motorscooters, gets about 100 mpg and cost him $2,500 to make. Now he uses it for about 90 percent of his daily driving. At the Alt Car Expo in Santa Monica, Squibb talks to AutoblogGreen about the ride.
