Gadgets & Tech – After many years, Nvidia has a really fearsome competition as ATI has a cheaper, smaller and better priced chip, while Nvidia has big, expensive and not that much faster chip called GT200. For many years ATI was close enough, but never a step ahead, at least until now.

Gadgets & Tech – The relation of GPU acceleration for gaining higher 3DMark scores in physics tests has been controversial to say the least. Futuremark has now decided to update its Hall of Fame to exclude all results using PhysX on a GPU, simply because this was not how they intended it to work.

Video Games – Thanks to the launch of Metal Gear Solid 4, a title exclusively available on Sony PlayStation 3, the game console managed to outsell its main rival Xbox 360 by two times with 405.5 thousand systems sold. Still, Nintendo sold through 666.7 million Wii consoles.

Gadgets & Tech – Apparently some folks have $6,600 to toss on a gaming PC, and thankfully, those folks invested in a camera to let us all live vicariously. HP's Blackbird 002 Exhilaration Edition, which packs a pair of NVIDIA's potent GeForce GTX 280 cards, has landed in the home of one lucky gamer, and there's a good selection of pictures to prove it.

Gadgets & Tech – We knew this one was coming, but we didn't know the details. Nintendo busted out the new MotionPlus Wiimote add-on at its E3 keynote today. The device, which attaches to the rear of the controller, will be used to tighten up and refine motion sensing on the Wii.
