GPU PhysX Doesn't get you to 3DMark Vantage Hall of Fame Anymore

Gadgets & Tech – The relation of GPU acceleration for gaining higher 3DMark scores in physics tests has been controversial to say the least. Futuremark has now decided to update its Hall of Fame to exclude all results using PhysX on a GPU, simply because this was not how they intended it to work.

Nintendo Wii on Top Again

Video Games – Thanks to the launch of Metal Gear Solid 4, a title exclusively available on Sony PlayStation 3, the game console managed to outsell its main rival Xbox 360 by two times with 405.5 thousand systems sold. Still, Nintendo sold through 666.7 million Wii consoles.

Nintendo announces the Wii MotionPlus at E3

Gadgets & Tech – We knew this one was coming, but we didn't know the details. Nintendo busted out the new MotionPlus Wiimote add-on at its E3 keynote today. The device, which attaches to the rear of the controller, will be used to tighten up and refine motion sensing on the Wii.
