Is a Sitcom Right for House of Payne?

Television – Seeing as the show's traditional format is rooted in a typical half-hour time slot, its interesting Perry didn't choose the hour-long dramedy format popularized by the late Sopranos. Such a choice would be more in keeping with his films, but Perry seems to work wonders enough with the sitcom format, a genre all but dead.
