Banned Trailer Park Trash Video

Popular Videos – HamptonRoads.tv filmed this video for their "realer news" segment, but never aired it due to the perceived negative stereotype of "trailer park trash". It's a video well worth watching, despite being banned by the big-wigs.

Video Games – I recently had a chance to speak with Sanya Weathers, Director of Community Relations and Mark Jacobs, Vice President and General Manager of EA Mythic, to talk a little bit about development life in Virginia, the EA merger, and Warhammer Online, their latest entry into online gaming. This is what they had to say.

17 New Battlefield 2142 Screens

Video Games – Today I was pleasantly surprised when greeted with 17 new screenshots from the next Battlefield entry, Battlefield 2142. If the game-play is anywhere near as good as the following screenshots look, I'm going to lose a lot of hours and many virtual lives to it.

Real Life College Course Takes Place in Second Life World

Video Games – I'm still not quite sure what they intend to accomplish, but I am pretty excited about where experiments like this may lead. Just think about it; If they ever start to offer life experience credits for MMO playing, I'll have that PhD I always wanted.

Video Games – Blizzard has launched an official WoW MySpace page -- I'll pause for a moment while you cry tears of joy, anger, or sorrow... your choice. In classic Blizzard style, the site is packed with goodies such as audio tracks, original art, screen shots, contests, WoW themed buddy icons, MySpace page skins, mail, animated pets, and more.

Xbox Murders

Video Games – It's no wonder Congress is falling over themselves to legislate the industry. If all I knew of gaming came from newspaper headlines, I'd be afraid to look sideways at an Xbox in Wal-Mart for fear that it might jump off of the shelf and kick me in the teeth.
