So, What COULD Dethrone Digg?

Gadgets & Tech – In my opinion, there are plenty of things that are wrong with Digg, but Digg keeps on growing. Even if gaming was rampant, would Jay admit it? And even if it was (and I'm convinced it is to the extend that no one has yet picked up on it, or its gotten publicity) would it matter? In fact, in spite of all of its problems and recent negative publicity

Three Reasons Why Social Bookmarking Is About To Get Ugly

Gadgets & Tech – Over the past year many sites such as digg.com, reddit.com, and del.icio.us all have become almost iconic in their ability to provide a way for the users to choose what news they like in the form of a ratings system. Wil Wheaton Joins the Netscape Navigator Team!

Gadgets & Tech – Jason and I talked about it several times over the next couple of months, and eventually I got to see a preview of the new Netscape. I was really blown away by the changes they'd made, and their plans for its first year. There's a lot of philosophy underlying the whole project that dovetails with the stuff we're doing at Revision 3: just like I believe that on-demand is part of the future of television, I believe that socially-driven news sites like Fark, Digg, Reddit, and Netscape will eventually become the primary way people will get their news and information in the future. It was another no-brainer, and I accepted the job.

Or the oh-so-practical Lifehacker.com? What about Google engineer Matt Cutts? Or will the gossip oozing Gawker.com dominate the list?
