Scout shead

Me, I'm Steve Head. I co-created the movie news website IGN Filmforce, which is now IGN movies, and that's where much of my writing goes. There, we essentially live and breathe news and interviews. From 1997 to 2000 I was co-editor of TheForce.net - your daily Star Wars news. I've also written for Esquire, Script magazine, and the Boston Phoenix. And from time to time I volunteer at the nonprofit Brattle Theater (http://brattlefilm.org) here in Cambridge, MA. I'm also Editor in Chief of the NewFilmNation.com.

The Exiles: Despair and Poetry at Margins of Society

Movies – Given the truth of this, the restoration and long-delayed commercial release of "The Exiles," a 1961 film about a largely forgotten corner of that deceptively bright city, is nothing less than a welcome act of defiant remembrance.

'Twilight': Inside the First Stephenie Meyer Movie

Movies – On a March day in Oregon, the sun's as bright as a California morning. That's great news for the locals, but it sucks if you're a vampire. For two weeks, Twilight, the $37 million film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling novel, has been shooting outside Portland
