Are dads the new moms?

Family – It's been said that perhaps men are the new women, with the male pedicures and such. A recent New York Times article takes this to the next level by describing a group of men, stay at home dads all, who get together with each other for coffee after dropping the kids off at school. One of them describes their jaunts as "like 'Sex and the City'

Wall-E Review by Roger Ebert

Movies – Pixar's "WALL*E" succeeds at being three things at once: an enthralling animated film, a visual wonderment and a decent science-fiction story. After "Kung Fu Panda," I thought I had just about exhausted my emergency supply of childlike credulity, but here is a film, like "Finding Nemo," that you can enjoy even if you'v

Barack Obama rocks out to better music than you

Music – When the Democratic presidential contender told Rolling Stone, "I have pretty eclectic tastes," what Barack Obama should have said was, "You wish you had my iPod." The Illinois senator's iTunes playlist is full of hits and very few misses. A few of Barack's standbys:

Sarah Jessica Parker to Play a Rich Manhattanite?!

Movies – WHAT?! Well, sort of. Actually, she'll play a rich Manhattanite who loses her high-paying job and posh Upper East Side apartment and decides to start a business helping rich New Yorkers get their kids into elite kindergartens. (Knowing someone who worked as an admissions officer at an elite kindergarten, this is not shocking to me.)

5 Ways to Get Through Colic

Family – My newborn's fussing started every afternoon around the same time as Oprah. By the time the show ended, he was usually in a full-out cry -- and often, so was I. He cried for upward of 12 hours a day, morning and night, longer than an Iron Man triathlon and, to me, just as grueling

What Do GenYers Really Want From Work?

Careers & Jobs – Now two years out of college, my 24- year -old son is nowhere near being on a career track. I'm thrilled. In fact, as best as I can tell only two of his friends seems to be working in traditional jobs. One is in banking and after bonuses are distributed he may opt to leave that industry--before he gets laid off. The other works for a major adver
