Food – The title alone sounds disgusting (who thinks of mixing a vinegar with a fruit?!), but trust me this dessert is good! It's one of my (as well as everyone who tries it) favorite desserts ever. The not-completely-sweet touch of balsamic vinegar blends perfectly with juicy summer strawberries and the creaminess of the panna cotta.

Food – Asparagus Stuffed Chicken turned out great. I made a really simple breading for the chicken, cut a slit in it, and stuffed it with asparagus and cheese. Kramer even loved it, and it's hard to get him to eat his vegetables. This dish is simple, quick, and really tasty!

Food – This is an easy weekday meal to whip up. I try to get dh and I to eat fish at least once a week. It is a lean protein full of heart healthy fats. The nutritional benefits of fish vary by species and location of the catch. Generally speaking, wild caught fish is more healthy than farmed.

Food – So, I have to make do without this shiny new piece of kitchen machinery for now. I have no choice but to make orecchiette. It's formed by hand, and the only special equipment you need is a table knife.

Food – pasteis de nata are thought to have been created by catholic sisters in a convent in lisbon. the convent belonged to the belem parish in lisbon, and so they are known there as pasteis de belem. pasteis de belem is also the name of a now world-famous pastry shop in lisbon, specializing in, of course, these egg tarts.

Food – For those of you that have never had it, chirashi sushi i a bowl of vinegared sushi rice topped with a bunch of colorful stuff. At most sushi restaurants this means covering the rice with slices of various raw fish, but that's not always how it's made.

Food – I love eating fennel raw with its licorice bite. This salad is wonderfully cleansing as the beginning of a meal, or to end one. If you have a mandoline, you can slice the fennel bulb much more thinly than I did. You can save the stems to cook since they lose their licorice bite that way. They taste like, and have the same crunch, as celery.
