Shopping – Mashable is having a little Awards Show for Social Networking, divided into a few sub-categories, including Social Shopping. Good place to check out who is on the scene in this space and of course, to vote! I voted for Pedro.

Gadgets & Tech – How many times have we dropped our forks in utter horror with the realization that we forgot about the parking meter, run out with the napkin still tucked into our belts, to find a ticket issued 90 seconds after the meter run out? Shopping – "From now on it's only clean-burning, petroleum-free waxes that won't cause any indoor air pollution or make bad things happen to my lungs. I'm going to stick with essential-oil-infused blends based in soy, which is nontoxic, renewable, and helps support our country's farmers."

Shopping – Cookbooks are good gifts, but a regular book related to food is also a welcome, refreshing change for anyone who cooks all the time. A good starter gift list for your favorite foodie.
