Gadgets & Tech – Tomorrow demonstrations against Apple iTunes DRM will take place in front of several Apple stores. Even if you love your iPod and Apple products, it doesn't mean you have to agree with the crippling DRM placed on music you have purchased from the iTunes Music Store. Gadgets & Tech – Digg claims: "rather than allow an editor to decide which stories go on the homepage, the users do." Not the case, it's a totalitarian society that still controls the content and even chooses to slander other companies on a whim.

Men – I want to get these just for the reaction only. I can't wait to see the reaction on my friends' faces the first time I take off my shoe, place it on top of my beer and pop off the cap. Celebrities – I find Jennifer Aniston, as both an actress and a celebrity, to be unbearably dull. And whilst I'm usually all about trashing boring celebrities, Caryn James' piece on Aniston in this morning's New York Times is pretty brutal. While Brad and Angie effortlessly manipulate the media, Jen seems "like a case study in how not to become a movie star, how to forfeit the title of America's sweetheart." Ouch.

Gadgets & Tech – This is an interesting take on the problems with social bookmarking sites like Digg. People in groups can influence the numbers, as can editors. Here at Netscape, we\'re working hard to keep this site as unfiltered as possible, while being transparent about the editorial finesse that our Anchors provide. Transparency as honesty is our goal.

Gadgets & Tech – Michael Arrington of TechCrunch writes about the New Netscape. He says: "It’s not exactly a Digg clone ... the top few spots in each category and on the home page are determined by an “anchor†- essentially an editor choosing from stories moving up the ranks."
