Video Games – The video game stork came by our place today and blessed us with an oh so long awaited PlayStation 3 of our very own, which we proceeded to ravenously photograph and film. We've got plenty of shots of our new PlayStation 3 debug unit (sorry, this isn't the final retail packaging), as well as some video of the PS3 initial setup and slot-loading driv

Video Games – In the second part of our pre-release PlayStation 3 videos, we've got a full walkthrough of the XMB menus and user interface of the console. No, sorry, no gameplay, but we've got the A-Z on almost everything in the console, including the new and improved Sony browser

Gadgets & Tech – We finally got a chance to sit down with all three Zunes and get some serious play time with the damned things. It may be a little early to give final impressions, but let's just say what we saw is a very decent start. The player was responsive and fast; all functions worked flawlessly and without delay. The software and storefront has a lot of new

Video Games – We got a brief shred of playtime back at E3 this year, but Sony was kind enough to invite us down to SCEA HQ in beautiful Foster City for a little one on one with some PlayStation3s and execs. We shot some video (yes, us) and have a writeup of the hardware, so check it out!

Art & Design – Yesterday, Divester revealed a few sneak-peak photos of the Queen of the Lost City of Atlantis. Here are some more photos of the finished product, as well as a few photos of the Queen-in-progress, which gives a sense of how Foots assembles the whole she-bang. Very cool.

Music – The RIAA is fighting hard to prevent yet another dismissal with prejudice of a filesharing lawsuit. In the end, suing individual citizens in effort to stop worldwide piracy makes as much sense as trying to hold back the Mississippi River with an umbrella.

Gadgets & Tech – We're not really traders here at Engadget, but we decided to indulge our fantasies of Gordon Gekko grandeur and put together a portfolio of tech stocks. We think besides being a barometer for the gadget industry, perhaps the Engadget Index will serve as a look from a different angle into the massive economy of consumer electronics.

Celebrities – Cody Brown is a master diver, is oxygen-provider certified, started a high-def video company, and wrote "Scuba For Kids," a book for kids about diving. Despite all this, Cody remains extremely grounded. How does a 12-year-old manage to do all this and stay reasonably -- even uncommonly -- sane?

Gadgets & Tech – We know you've all been waiting patiently to find out the winners of the Engadget commercial contest, and to whom the spoils (that Sony Vaio VGN-AR190G Blu-ray laptop, MSRP $3,400) went. We received nearly 100 commercials, which totally blew our mind, but today is all about the winner of the contest, as well as eight runners up we selected.
