Brown issues Iran nuclear warning

News – Britain is determined to prevent Iran developing nuclear arms, Gordon Brown has warned in an address to the Israeli parliament, the Knesset. He said that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's call for Israel "to be wiped off the map" was abhorrent.

Congress Considering Raising Gas Taxes

Politics – The Federal highway fund is losing money. With people driving less, the tax revenue from gasoline is dropping. So Congress has decided to consider raising (yes, raising) the gas tax, which will drive price up at the pump. They are considering a hike of 10 cents/gallon.
