Rep. Wexler Promises To Keep After Rove In Siegelman Case

Politics – We would much prefer Mr. Rove voluntarily agreed to appear before the House Judiciary Committee, as would any other American citizen. But my view is that if he refuses to come voluntarily, we must first subpoena him, and if he refuses to honor the subpoena then the full House of Representatives must hold Mr. Rove in Contempt of Congress.

How Bush Killed the Reagan Era

Politics – The Reagan era in American politics is about to end, and we have George W. Bush to thank for its demise. Fan Created Incredible Hulk Model is Better Than Hollywood's

Movies – I've heard a lot of people complaining about the CG Hulk in the new Incredible Hulk movie. Personally, I had no problems with the design in this upcoming movie or Ang Lee 's film from a couple years back. /Film reader Mark C sent over a fan created 3D rendering, which I even agree, looks better than the stuff we've seen in the trailers!

Are There Just Too Many People in the World?

The Miracle, at 60

Religion – Look at Gaza today. No Israeli occupation, no settlements, not a single Jew left. The Palestinian response? Unremitting rocket fire killing and maiming Israeli civilians. The declared casus belli of the Palestinian government in Gaza behind these rockets? The very existence of a Jewish state.

McCain just can't shake that lobbyist link

Politics – John McCain's ties with Washington lobbyists are not among serious challenges for his campaign- not with the shape of the U.S. economy and public opinion still shifting away from his steadfast support for indefinite military commitments in Iraq. But influence peddling will be difficult for McCain to explain to voters as well.
