By combining a passion for music and a "never stop learning" attitude, John W. Tuggle provides a unique learning experience for his guitar students. Going that extra mile for his students is not uncommon for John. "When you truly love what you do, it's hard not to" John W. Tuggle. John began playing the guitar at the age of 17, which led to many hours of practice for the first few years of learning. During college, he continued his education by studying music theory, jazz guitar, and classical ensemble playing. This broadened his knowledge of the instrument and led to many gigs all over the southeast with many different style bands. From country to rock, blues, pop, and R&B, John has performed all types of music to people all over the southeast. He was the guitar player for Neal Pattman, Georgia blues legend, for a stint where he learned the art of improvisation and playing behind a frontman. He currently plays with the Highballs, corporate dance and party band, that plays everything from oldies to the 80's, and The Heidi Henseley band, a pop rock band out of Athens, Georgia. Teaching has always been in John's life from early on. After only playing the guitar for 4 years, he began teaching 30 students a week at Jubilee music in Fairhope, Alabama. He now teaches at Musician's Warehouse in Athens, Georgia, and maintains a large student base as well. In 2007 John released Guitar Method Beginner Book 1. From his many years of teaching students of all ages, John felt it was time to put his unique teaching methods in print. Guitar Method Beginner Book 1 has been widely accepted in his home town on Athens, Georgia, and how He's taking it to a national audience. Whether it's private lessons, skype lessons, Ebooks, or his DVD courses, you'll find his easy to follow lessons beneficial to students of any style or age.
