Real Estate – In a massive blow to affordable housing in New York City, Peter Cooper Village and Stuyvesant Town - the largest apartment complex in Manhattan (housing some 25,000 people), were sold Tuesday for $5.4 billion dollars. The deal, which will be finalized by year's end, is one of the largest private real-estate transactions in history.
