Television – Fox News has sunk to a new low. On Wednesday, the network displayed photos that its editors had doctored of two New York Times employees--reporter Jacques Steinberg, and editor Steven Radcliffe. The before and after photos can be seen here.
Politics – For McCain, getting shot down and enduring as a POW has been a political asset. Now Clark was suggesting that the "getting shot down" part was an irrelevant--at least as far as being a credential for the White House.

Money – Starbucks, known for its kudzu-like proliferation, will now close 600 of its US outlets. The company has acknowledged that it may have lost some of its luster during a long period of rapid store openings and expansion into everything from breakfast sandwiches to movie promotions.

Music – This is how guitar is played without multiple takes and pro tools, raw, loud, fast, and most importantly, with a ton of feeling.Alvin Lee was an animal on guitar,an inspiration to people like Blackmore and Beck.A true great.Hope you enjoy.
Politics – Hillary Clinton standing off to the side while Obama is at the podium up there in Unity, New Hampshire, and she's got her hands clasped, and she is just looking at him so admiringly, and I don't believe for a minute she is admiring or enjoying whatever is going on. This is all about $10 million being raised.
News – A spike in white supremacist activity caught the attention of the Propeller community this week. But so did stories about abstinence, defense spending, and the death of the late, great, and hilarious George Carlin.
Politics – Obama made a video for a liberal pacifist organization last year, the senator called for major cuts in defense spending, slowing the development of future combat systems, and cutting investments in America's ballistic missile defense program.
Do No Evil – Viewpoint: The pastor who argued the Holocaust was part of a divine plan was abandoned by McCain. But concern for Israel made the Anti-Defamation League more forgiving
News – The death of Tim Russert prompted an outpouring of sadness and sympathy from the Propeller community. But other hot topics this week included the Supreme Court, George W. Bush, hoop dreams, and a spot of plastic surgery.
Politics – I like President George W. Bush. He's kept us 100 percent al-Qaida free since 2001.

News – Dennis Kucinich's failed attempt to impeach George W. Bush ignited this week's lengthiest conversation at Propeller. But the community also sounded off on oil prices, Michelle Obama, and the dark side of working at Hooters (the job seems to be a total bust).
Politics – The House has voted to send articles of impeachment against President Bush to a committee that is not likely to hold hearings before the end of his term. By 251-166, House members dispatched the measure to a committee on Wednesday--a procedure often used to kill legislation.
Gadgets & Tech – For the last few months, the Propeller team has been hard at work on a major upgrade to our social news experience. As we near our community's two-year anniversary, I am pleased to announce that this work will soon be complete. We have a lot of exciting news to share!
News – Barack Obama was unmistakably back in the center ring this week at Propeller--along with his rival John McCain, the war on terror, and the late, great Harvey Korman.
