Gadgets & Tech – While technology has improved many aspects of our lives, it 's absolutely killing customer service. Gadgets & Tech – While getting up on the homepage of these lesser known submission sites won't bring you as much traffic as you'd receive from Netscape, the fact that it's easier to get up on the homepage of these "second tier" sites means in the end, they may actually generate more traffic for you than Netscape.

Gadgets & Tech – It turns out your site 's traffic probably has a lot less to do with how you market it, and a lot more to do with the fact you're probably just too bland. If you're writing very vanilla, try-to-make-everyone-happy articles, your site's traffic is going to suck. Create a buzz or some controversy and you're hits will increase exponentially.

Gadgets & Tech – Considering it seems like the top 25 users account for 60% of what makes it up onto the homepage, it appears Digg is more like a high school social clique than it is the user driven news submission site it claims to be.

Gadgets & Tech – If content truly is the number one way to get people to your view your site, then having the ability to write catchy titles and interesting summaries when you submit your articles to Netscape and other "story voting" sites has to be an extremely close second.
