cowboygrandpa

I'm happily married. I am a registered voter. I love animals. I'm a dad to three grown daughters and a grandpa to 10 grandchildren. I've done many things in my life and have learned as I matured. God the Trinity and my family are the most important things in my life. I do not however think myself better than someone who is not a Christian. I was not always saved. I had some pretty wild times when I was younger. I learned not judge others. For there but through the Grace of God stand I. I encouraged my daughters to question things when they were growing up. I did not want them to grow up. Not knowing the reasons people do things. I still have problems with people who will follow someone like sheep without questioning where they are being led. I remember telling my daughters when they were young. Do not look to me as the picture of perfection for I am not God. I am but a man. I enjoy a lively debate and desire to hate no person. I do not hate people I hate certain behaviors. Do not allow others to make up your mind for you. For if you do you will never have the Rock for a foundation. You will end up shifting like sand in the ocean going where ever the tide carries you. God Bless all of you. God Bless and watch over America always.

D Day June 6th 1944

Do No Evil – This is a brief account of what D Day was. Yes there is some actual footage and there is some footage from Saving Private Ryan. The real story to me is that so many forget what this meant. I went to work yesterday and asked the ladies in the office if they knew what June 6th was remembered for. None of them did. Lest we forget

Taps Buglers At ARLINGTON National Cemetery

Men – A montage of the Buglers and some funerals at Arlington National Cemetery. Taps is played at the end of it. Lest we forget those who honorably served and serve. I've heard this more than I care to remember, yet it is the most haunting and humbling tune I've yet to hear.

40 Hour Week For A Living Sung By Alabama

Music – This song is for all of us who have worked hard in our lives. A memory in a song. How we used to go to work in the factories and the fields. I've done more than a few of these jobs. How about you? I know I take pride in what I do, I'm sure you do to. Just my way of saying I still respect the working men and women of America.

Dean Martin's Welcome to my World

Music – Dean was not only a singer but an entertainer. I had the fun of watching one of his Vegas shows. I still enjoy this kind of music and entertainment. His humor and style made him unique.

Fortunate Son . By CCR

Do No Evil – Fortunate Son set to a compilation of images from Vietnam during the war. This is a glimpse of the war and a remembrace of the insanity. Lest we forget the ones we left behind, who paid the ultimate price. I miss you bro's.

War Pigs Some of what our soldiers see.

Politics – There is no commentary in this. Only the music. I'll leave it to everyone to decide for themselves. Would you want to be there? When you came home should we make sure you have a place to live?
