I'm happily married. I am a registered voter. I love animals. I'm a dad to three grown daughters and a grandpa to 10 grandchildren. I've done many things in my life and have learned as I matured. God the Trinity and my family are the most important things in my life. I do not however think myself better than someone who is not a Christian. I was not always saved. I had some pretty wild times when I was younger. I learned not judge others. For there but through the Grace of God stand I. I encouraged my daughters to question things when they were growing up. I did not want them to grow up. Not knowing the reasons people do things. I still have problems with people who will follow someone like sheep without questioning where they are being led. I remember telling my daughters when they were young. Do not look to me as the picture of perfection for I am not God. I am but a man. I enjoy a lively debate and desire to hate no person. I do not hate people I hate certain behaviors. Do not allow others to make up your mind for you. For if you do you will never have the Rock for a foundation. You will end up shifting like sand in the ocean going where ever the tide carries you. God Bless all of you. God Bless and watch over America always.

Family – That's the question this author asks, an amused & somewhat perplexed American journalist living in England with her family. Piece is funny, personal (her husband is 1 of those guys) & reflects her view of guys' limitations or tolerance for silliness. A personal take on the "guys night out" tradition...

Science – Attempting to continue our wind power theme, we were doing some digging and what we found was something truly spectacular. A California man has constructed a design that features twenty-five small turbines in lieu of the massive blades on a modern wind power plan. One day this may approach the production capacity of the behemoths.

Politics – The political situation for the GOP is not good, and they aren't even trying to deny it. Asked if Tom Davis thought there should be a change in House GOP leadership, he brought up the 2006 election and the loss of Congress, then wondered aloud why, when "the plane is being flown into the mountain," there has been no change in direction.
