Autos – Project X has now officially been renamed the Recovery and Transformation plan by the Chrysler Group, which will reduce its workforce by 13,000 people between now and 2009 and idle a plant in Newark. The company will also invest in engines and entertain the idea of selling itself off from parent company DaimlerChrysler.

Gadgets & Tech – As much as we hate to admit it, we each only have 24 hours on any given day to do things. In December 2006, we had 44,640 minutes to do whatever our hearts desired be it sleep, eat, watch TV, jump rope, or spend time online.
