blainegarrett

One foot in the hustle and bustle of the wonderful Twin Cities and the other foot deeply planted in the woods of Northern Wisconsin. I suppose "urban lumberjack" might be the appropriate term. I am a recent Computer Science and Art graduate from The University of Minnesota. By day I am a web developer for this here site, and by night I am the Executive Director of TC based Adamantine Arts as well as an aspiring artist, musician, and experimental cook. I am working on being involved more in the community here, so please consider me to be just another member. I usually am interested in art, music, politics, and humor stories. Yup, so that is me in a nutshell. Word.

Ignorance abound in wake of tragedy

Do No Evil – 32 people murdered. 29 others wounded. Honestly, I can't wrap my mind around the enormity of what happened at Virginia Tech. Others don't seem to have that problem. It's as if 32 dead college students are nothing more than fodder for political points of view on gun control.
