One foot in the hustle and bustle of the wonderful Twin Cities and the other foot deeply planted in the woods of Northern Wisconsin. I suppose "urban lumberjack" might be the appropriate term. I am a recent Computer Science and Art graduate from The University of Minnesota. By day I am a web developer for this here site, and by night I am the Executive Director of TC based Adamantine Arts as well as an aspiring artist, musician, and experimental cook. I am working on being involved more in the community here, so please consider me to be just another member. I usually am interested in art, music, politics, and humor stories. Yup, so that is me in a nutshell. Word.

Humor – You're having a horrible day at the office. If you get one more meeting request, you are going to kill yourself. Oh snap, an email just arrived. 5 minutes 'till the meeting, if you can manage to provoke your coworkers into mauling you, you can get out of it. No more flow charts and motivational jibber jabber. Go.

Art & Design – Adamantine Arts' 3rd installment of their Spring 2007 Art Discussion Series with Scott Stulen is now online. This session covers the resurgence of drawing as an art form and the reasons including the post 911 art market, falling away from digital medium, and the return to representation. My favorite is the lifesize drawing of the Cadliac Escalade.

Gadgets & Tech – The Kathy Sierra story made Digg. Of course, the comments were to be expected. Robert Scoble is outraged by the comments (truly, there were some horrible ones there). EngTech blog analyzes the issues (how they are not specific to digg) and suggest 5 ways to fix.

Gadgets & Tech – Kids want PSPs. PSPs can get on the internet. The Internet has porn, predators, and bad sites. Thus FOX news blames PSP. Makes sense to me.
