Politics – I realize that bashing Jimmy Carter is something of a favorite sport for many people in our country. But when it comes to energy conservation and the dismal situation we now find ourselves in regarding foreign oil dependence, and a withering auto industry, Carter's diagnosis and solutions would have largely spared us the pain we're all now feeling.

Do No Evil – Many of Iran's claims related to missile tests during "Great Prophet III" war games -- appear to be smoke and mirrors! It was an older missile that was out of production, newsroom sources tell DRUDGE. And a video showing what appeared to be many missiles being fired -- is actually one missile, filmed from different angles!

News – The White House says President Bush is planning to lift an executive ban on offshore oil drilling.In a Rose Garden statement on Monday, the president plans to lift the ban. But by itself, the move will not lead to more drilling off America's coastline.
